Data Deletion
TeachAssist users can easily delete the data stored by the TeachAssist app directly through the app or by uninstalling it. No external requests are necessary. To delete your TeachAssist profile, contact YRDSB.
Method 1 — Logout from the app
- 1Open the TeachAssist app
- 2Tap on your profile icon
- 3Scroll down to find the logout option
- 4Tap "Logout" to remove your data
Method 2 — Uninstall the app
- 1Locate TeachAssist on your device
- 2Long press the app icon
- 3Select "Uninstall" or drag to uninstall
- 4Confirm uninstallation
What data gets deleted
When you log out or uninstall TeachAssist, the following data is removed:
- Account credentials and login information
- Cached academic data and grades
- App preferences and settings
- Any locally stored user data
